Pastor Kenneth E. Hollins

and Sister Brenda A. Hollins

He attended Tougaloo College, Jackson, Mississippi where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science in1981.  He earned a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Administration from Jackson State University in 1991.  In 1996 Pastor Hollins earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Lift Bible Crusade College and Seminary, Incorporated, Ocean Springs, Mississippi.  In August of 2007 he earned a Ph.D. in Urban Higher Education from Jackson State University.  His dissertation topic was, The Participation of Inmates in Post-Secondary Correctional Education.  Pastor Hollins has published three books, From His Advent to His Ascension, A Sermonic Overview of the Life of Christ and The Book of Esther, A Portrait of the Providence of God and The Sermon on the Mount.

In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, Pastor Hollins also serves in the following capacities: Chancellor of Lift Bible Crusade College and Seminary, Incorporated, 3rd Vice-Moderator for the Shiloh Missionary Baptist District Association, Education Board Chairman for the Mississippi National Baptist State Convention, Mississippi State Board Member for Child Evangelism Fellowship and Director for the Gulf Coast Chapter of Child Evangelism Fellowship.

Pastor Hollins firmly believes that the Church should go beyond the walls of the sanctuary to take the soul winning, life changing, yoke destroying Word of God to a sinful world.  Anything less causes us to fall short of what Jesus commands us in the Great Commission, Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen” (Matthew 28:19-20).
